Hey there! With a new month comes new goals. First, let’s review October. I did pretty well this month.
Fitness
1) Make up some new workouts for the gym
I actually took some workouts from the archives and there were a few simple changes I did but nice to change it up.
2) Swim once a week
I met this goal! Woohoo! I swam once a week, usually on Saturday but one time on Friday. I think mid Saturday morning is the best time for me to swim, or mid morning in general which can’t happen during the week since I work full time. Loved that I got to swim 2 miles not once, but twice!
Personal
1) Paint or carve a pumpkin
I carved a pumpkin early in the month which was fun, but it rotted quickly and I threw it outside… I also roasted the seeds which were tasty.
2) Meditate/Journal
Ummm I meditated some days…still not very consistent with this. Also part of my Christmas list is a new journal, but blogging helps to clear my mind too and I also spent more time coloring, so that was relaxing.
This month I have decided to just stick to some personal goals. One is sort of fitness related. I am still heading to the gym about 5 days a week and also doing some yoga at home. I am hoping to continue swimming once a week and also signed up for some yoga workshops so I am looking forward to those this month.
Personal
1) Make a new recipe once a week
I eat pretty much the same thing every day, though I try to switch up my dinners weekly, but being that it is just me, sometimes I make something and it serves 4 and then I’m eating it for 4 days. I would especially love to try some new breakfast ideas.
2) go through old items to sell
With Christmas around the corner, I have some things I think I could sell on Ebay, so I would like to do that and reduce some clutter, just call it cleaning before the holidays.
3) write out some yoga sequences
So I am hoping to find some subbing I can do for yoga classes and I want a few back pocket sequences in my head and on paper fully written out, that helps me with cues and everything. I also would be subbing at gyms and since I won’t have props to use, I need to make sure I can cue all levels and adjust to not having props.
